ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS’ DAY IS APPROACHING!

While you may not have heard of it, Administrative Professionals’ Day (which was called Secretary’s in years past) is observed in multiple countries as a way to distinguish the work of administrative support professionals such as secretaries, receptionists and administrative assistants.

Its inception first occurred in June of 1952 when, in an effort to address a national shortage of skilled office workers, Mary Bennett, President of the National Secretaries Association and C. King Woodbridge, President of Dictaphone Corp., decided that administrative professionals represented an important, yet under-appreciated facet of our workforce.

Officially moved to the last week in April, today’s celebration has become one of the largest workplace observances throughout the world.  In countries such as South Africa, France, the Netherlands, and right here in the United States, administrative professionals are now celebrated through workplace gatherings, events, social functions, and as always, the giving of gifts.

Make sure to set aside some time this April to recognize the hardworking administrative professionals in your life.  By selecting one of our beautiful, classic gift baskets, you’ll be able to send the perfect message of thanks while making sure they feel your appreciation for a job-well-done.

And, as always, thank you for making Gratitude Goodies Atlanta’s #1 signature gift basket company.
