Pinecrest Academy senior, Michael Bruckner, received notification from Mr. Jay Gogue, President of Auburn University, on December 5, 2013, awarding him the Academic Presidential Scholarship, one of Auburn University's highest academic awards. The award is in the amount of $64,000 over four years, with an additional $1,000 technology stipend for his first fall quarter.
