  1. Want to know your Cumming Police Department officers better? Beat the heat and meet your community leaders at "Chillin with the Cops" next Wednesday, Jul. 13! The event will take place at Fowler Park from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. (Forsyth County Sheriff's Office)
  2. A Cumming community member is going international! Sammy Mishkin of Cumming, Ga graduated magna cum laude in May from the College of the Arts with his Bachelor of Music in performance for piano playing. This summer, Mishkin auditioned successfully for the Collaborative Piano Program at the American Institute for Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria where he will continue his education this fall.   3. Big Creek Elementary in Cumming is excited to announce the hiring of their newest Wildcat! Tanvi Patel is joining Big Creek as an ESOL teacher for the 22-23 school year. She has been teaching since 2010 and recently moved from North Carolina to Cumming. (Big Creek Elementary via Facebook)
