City of Refuge CEO Named to SAFFT Board of Directors

Supporting Adoption & Foster Families Together (SAFFT), a 501(c)3 non-profit that protects children, rebuilds families and empowers caregivers, has recently announced Pastor Bruce Deel, founder and Chief Executive Officer of City of Refuge, has recently joined their Board of Directors.
As the founder and CEO of City of Refuge, a non-profit organization in Atlanta, Deel’s mission is to serve the last, lost and least of Atlanta’s inner-city with passion and excellence and lead others to do the same with integrity and sincerity.
“We are thrilled and honored to announce that Pastor Bruce has accepted an invitation to join the SAFFT board. We are working tirelessly to build the best leadership team to help take SAFFT to the next level so we can serve even more children and families in our community,” said Ashley Anderson, Executive Director of SAFFT.

Deel has been bold, relentless and unyielding in the fight against poverty and its consequences. As a result of his experience and success in positively impacting those in crisis, Deel is a sought after speaker and serves as a consultant to numerous non-profits around the country. Deel is a graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, TN and resides in Atlanta with his wife, Rhonda and five daughters.
Anderson continued, “Pastor Bruce’s contributions and love for his community are beyond anything I have seen in my career and no one is more excited to have him join our amazing team. We look forward to his contributions for years to come.”
