Further bolstering its leadership position in serving local communities and special-interest developments, Community & Southern Bank (CSB), one of Georgia’s most well capitalized banks, has partnered with developer Mallory & Evans Development (M&E) to bring a Class “A” student housing development to Dahlonega, Ga.

As part of the agreement, M&E will activate CSB’s robust commercial lending capabilities to develop a multi-phased project on Morrison Moore Parkway that will bring 108 units with 426 beds to a student community in need of student housing. The first 36 units are expected to be delivered in August 2015.

“CSB has an extensive history in providing developers within the student housing market with powerful, customized lending solutions that support growth in communities that need it most,” says Mark Abernathy, President of Community & Southern Bank. “We are proud that Mallory & Evans Development sees the value in our proven lending performance. We look forward to a long relationship with M&E as we work to further serve the Dahlonega community.
