Construction Activity Increases at The Orchards of Stoney Point

The Orchards Group’s newest active adult community, The Orchards of Stoney Point, has seen amazing sales and nonstop construction activity since opening just 90 days ago! With more than 45 percent of the homes already sold, construction has already started on 32 homes.

Construction first began on five community model homes, which are already 75 percent complete and expect to open in middle to late January. The model homes will showcase three master-on-the-main townhome villas from the Arbors Collection and two ranch condominium plans from the Southern Heritage Collection.

In addition to the five model homes, 27 of the 62 sold homes are already under construction. The Orchards Group has also scheduled new home starts through the summer of 2015, keeping its production calendar busy for the next several months as more than 75 new starts are scheduled.

“Our ability to keep our contractors on our site every day for the next year or so not only makes my job easier, but it assures consistent quality control, which is one of our priorities,” said Jeff Bouland, project manager for The Orchards Group.

The Orchards of Stoney Point, located in Cumming, will feature a total of 130 homes upon completion. Priced from the $270,000s through the $380,000s, the homes will be comprised of both the Arbors and Southern Heritage collections.

In addition to beautiful active adult homes, the community will also feature a variety of amenities. These will include a grand clubhouse with a fitness center, a great room with a fireplace, a gourmet kitchen and card and game tables, as well as a saltwater swimming pool. Already under construction, the amenities are on track to be complete by the time the model homes are finished, which is well in advance of the first homeowners moving in.
