County's 2013 Budget Process Underway
Budget meetings have been conducted with each of the county departments and offices.
Work is underway by Forsyth County staff and the Finance Committee to develop the county’s preliminary 2013 budget.
Budget meetings have been conducted with each of the county departments and offices to review in depth their budget submissions, and to make any preliminary adjustments as appropriate.
Presentation of the preliminary budget to the Board of Commissioners is scheduled for Tuesday, June 12. Public hearings regarding the millage rate are tentatively slated for July 5 and July 19.
