Steve O'Day, a partner attorney with Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, was recently recognized by the State Bar of Georgia with the Award for Service to the Profession of Environmental Law.
The award recognizes the critical role that lawyers play in protecting and managing Georgia’s natural resources.
And, our executive director, Sally Bethea, was honored to help highlight him and his work in environmental law. She counts O'Day as a longtime friend and mentor.
In addition to the State Bar of Georgia award, O’Day has received Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's highest honor, the River Guardian Award, for his years of service in protecting the river.
