Cumming resident joins Atlanta-based national mortgage firm

PrivatePlus Mortgage, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, has named Cumming resident Kevin Shoultz a Vice President and Mortgage Banker. He brings 20 years of experience in the industry to his new role.

The Mobile, Alabama, native came to the Atlanta area for the 1996 Olympic Games, loved the area and ended up making a home here, though he serves clients nationally. He says he enjoys helping clients get the mortgage they want and need, placing them in a loan that aligns with their goals, regardless of the complexity of their situation.
“My approach to helping clients with their mortgage needs centers on The Golden Rule,” Shoultz says. “I treat everyone as I would want to be treated, and work hard to ensure they understand everything from rate option availability to the requirements for verification of funds, as well as how to accurately compare and differentiate mortgage quotes and fees.”

Away from work, he enjoys most anything out of doors, including hiking, mountain biking and kayaking. He lives in Cumming and dedicates time to Habitat for Humanity and the Humane Society.
