Cumming Womens Arts and Crafts, Fun and Fellowship Society ... aka ... CWACKERS!

A place for women to gather and craft together, share, learn, love, laugh and just have a great time. Won't you come and join us soon?

Updated!!!

What?
A ‘place’ for crafty women in the Cumming area (and beyond) to meet, work on their artsy crafty projects with other women, learn new things, share what they know, enjoy fun, fellowship and conversation, build friendships, and find joy in being creative with others.

Who? Women who are interested in spending some ‘quality’ time with other women, doing something crafty, laughing, learning, and just having a great time.

Where? Cumming Michaels store, in the classroom. (Go in main door, take a right, and the classroom is on your right. Store address is: 1200 Market Place Blvd, Cumming Marketplace, Cumming, GA 30041

When? Times are always 10:00 am until 3:00 pm

Future dates are:

February 27th(we will be making a file folder mini album for anyone who is interested. You can find a list of supplies you should bring on our blog.)

March 6th

April 3rd
April 24th

What craft(s) can I bring?Any art or craft that is ‘portable’ enough to bring with you is welcome. If your art is messy, be prepared to bring materials to protect the surfaces (floor, tables, etc.) in the meeting room. You are responsible for leaving your space clean when you leave! Some suggestions are: needle arts (crochet, knitting, embroidery, felt crafts, quilting, etc.), fine arts (acrylics, oils, watercolors, etc.), mixed media art, paper crafts (scrapbooking, cardmaking, etc.), origami, quilling, jewelry making and beading, clay arts (small scale, like making things from sculpey, fimo, paper clay, etc.), making altered items, sculpture (remember the messyness factor!). You name it! If you can do it in an enclosed space without much of a mess, you can do it here!

Do I have to be really good at crafting? All levels of skill are welcome! From a newbie (or wannabe) to an expert, all are welcome and encouraged to come join us! If you don’t have a favorite craft, just pick something you want to learn, buy a few basic supplies and come start with us. There will probably be someone there who has at least a little knowledge about it!

You are responsible for bringing your own supplies, tools, etc. Any items you are willing to share should be marked with your name or some other identifying mark.

Rules: Leave drama or attitude outside, respect other members, clean up after yourself, and bring your friends! Also, per Michaels management, any items taken from the sales floor MUST be paid for before taking them into the classroom.
