Forsyth County Schools Issues Inclement Weather Decision
The school district said that its announcement would come at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at the latest.
Forsyth County Schools will be closed on Tuesday due to the threat of continuing inclement weather, the school district announced Monday afternoon.
“Please note that February 17 WILL NOT be an online/itslearning day because we have two inclement weather days built into the 2014-15 school calendar, March 16 and April 3,” the district said on Facebook. Additionally, no after school activities or sports will be held.
240-day employees should come to work only if conditions permit safe travel, according to the school district.
