Indictment Says Forsyth Man Had 92 Pounds of Marijuana
Norlan Gomez was arrested after what Forsyth authorities called a major pot bust on Jot Em Down Road in January.

CUMMING, GA — A Forsyth County man arrested after a major pot bust in January has been indicted on drug trafficking and other charges.
Authorities say Norlan Gomez, 39, had 92 pounds of marijuana in his possession when he was arrested on January 12.
He now faces felony charges of trafficking, manufacturing and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, according to court documents.

On January 12, a Forsyth County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit executed a search warrant at a home on Jot Em Down Road in north Forsyth.
While there, narcotics detectives confiscated 126 marijuana plants they say were found growing inside the house.

The street value of the marijuana confiscated in the raid was figured to be about $239,000.
Gomez has pleaded not guilty to all charges in the case.
