Forsyth Woman Dies After Single Vehicle Crash: Sheriff's Office
A 28-year-old woman died Thursday after her car crashed on Dahlonega Highway near Johnson Drive in Forsyth County.
FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — A woman from Forsyth County died Thursday after her car was involved in a single-vehicle crash.
On July 4 at 10:50 a.m., the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and the Fire Department responded to 2510 Dahlonega Highway in reference to a single vehicle crash.
The investigation at this point has determined that Angela Hernandez, 28, of Forsyth County, was driving a 2006 Ford Focus and traveling north on Dahlonega Highway near Johnson Drive. The Ford Focus ran off the roadway and continued through a yard coming to a stop at a concrete barrier.

According to Deputy First Class Matt Kirk, Traffic Investigator with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Hernandez was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Specialist Unit.
