Fundraiser Saturday For Forsyth Detective To Cover Medical Bills
The B.A.D.G.E. Foundation is hosting a fundraiser for Detective Drue Green this Saturday, March 23rd to offset some of his medical bills.

CUMMING, GA -- The Forsyth County B.A.D.G.E. benevolent association is raising funds to help Detective Drue Green pay for medical bills after he recently underwent a liver transplant.
The fundraiser for the Green Family will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at the Cumming Fairgrounds, 235 Castleberry Road.
Green, husband and father, served his country in the Army stationed in both Iraq and Afghanistan. While serving, he came in contact with something that caused a condition known as PSC (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis). PSC is a disease that ultimately causes liver failure. He has been doing well and keeping the disease and the symptoms under control for several years, but shortly after his daughter’s birth five months ago his symptoms worsened and his doctor conveyed to him that a liver transplant was his only option.
