CUMMING, GA — In celebration of the return of warm weather and the reopening of Halcyon’s connection to the Big Creek Greenway, Halcyon invites the community to May Day on the Greenway. From 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, the Village Green and Halcyon Trailhead will be infused with entertainment and pop-up activations for both adults and children to enjoy.

Halcyon will honor May Day’s historical roots as a spring festival with a plethora of open-air activities. Throughout the afternoon, experience live music, food vendors, fresh fruit by Publix, adoptable dogs from FurKids Animal Rescue just down the Greenway, spring-themed crafts, a flower truck and free giveaways, while supplies last. Tinkerbell will also be onsite, leading little ones to the Halcyon Fairy Garden for a tiny egg hunt.

Additionally, there will be a host of opportunities to learn more about health and wellness activities along the trail and at Halcyon, including information about running groups and bike rentals, programs hosted by Forsyth County Parks and Recreation, local wildlife guides, volunteer opportunities at FurKids and membership and class options at The Forum Athletic Club and Fit4Mom at Halcyon.
