• Police reports: Bar fight, elder scam and drug arrests (appenmedia.com) — Forsyth County deputies are investigating a suspected romance-style scam that targeted an 84-year-old Cumming woman, who received gifts and a large check from a man claiming to work on an oil rig. The case, classified as exploitation of an elderly person, appears alongside other recent drug, crash, and bar-fight arrests in nearby Alpharetta and Forsyth County.

• H-1B visa fraud — Atlanta Targeted for Potential Federal Crackdown (koreadaily.com) — Cumming is among several north metro job centers flagged by Rep.
