Hall County Man Charged With Murder In Party Shooting
Cornelius Gordon, 24, was shot in the head in his car outside a party at about 2 a.m. Monday, authorities say.

GAINESVILLE, GA — A Hall County man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of another man outside a party in Gainesville early Monday.
Delwoun Quintess Williams, 24, is charged with felony murder, terroristic threats and acts and probation violation in the death of Cornelius Gordon — also 24, of Gainesville.
Williams was arrested Tuesday, initially on a probation violation warrant. He was already a person of interest in Gordon's slaying, according to the Hall County Sheriff's Office.

Gordon was shot in the head around 2 a.m. Monday while sitting in his car outside a party on Barnes Drive in Gainesville. He was taken by friends to North East Georgia Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries, according to the sheriff's office.
Investigators say Gordon did not live at the address where he was shot.

Williams was arrested without incident and booked at the Hall County Jail. The case remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
