Helping Local Veterans
Introducing a treatment for veterans with substance abuse issues & Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Help for Soldiers with PTSD and Substance Abuse is now available. Every year soldiers return home only to struggle finding help dealing with PTSD and substance abuse. “Answers in Action”, directed by Bob Haynes, has designed a program that bridges the gap in meeting unmet needs. Bob, a veteran having seen active duty, has opened his doors of a Level I out-patient alcohol/drug treatment facility to any veteran in need of services.
“Answers in Action” begins with an assessment determining the level of service required via an informal interview. If substance abuse is the primary concern services are provided at the local Cumming office. This type of help is designed around an out-patient model. Higher levels of care would be referred out.
In the event PTSD or Trauma is primary or co-occurring treatment is addressed through a partnership with Tom Watkins, director of “New Hope Counseling”. Treatment protocol can include individualized services and EMDR Therapy.
