Hero Home Source: A Non-Profit for our Public Servants

While the idea of caring for those who serve is a common theme during the joy-filled holiday season, it’s important to remember that giving back does not have to be something which only happens during the winter months.

Hero Home Source is a non-profit program which is dedicated to helping our committed teachers, law enforcement officers, fire department personnel, and armed service members (both active and retired) receive cash benefits when making any real estate transaction.

In short, the program includes an extensive, nationwide network of real estate brokers, mortgage lenders, escrow companies, attorneys, and title companies, who partner in an effort to say thank you to our heroes by helping them save thousands when buying or selling a home.

Many of these offers are exclusive to our nation’s public servants, so this program serves as an amazing resource for many members of our community who deserve an extra “thank you” for all that they do.

Here in Forsyth County, my role as the organization’s Benefits Director allows me to be the point of contact for all heroes interested in participating in the program so that they can save money when buying or selling a home. The process can be stressful and cumbersome, so having a licensed Realtor who is not only committed to guiding you, but to giving back to the local heroes, is a big plus.
