Man Charged With DUI, Homicide In Forsyth Teen's Death

CUMMING, GA — A 21-year-old Loganville man has been charged with DUI and homicide in the July 4 death of a 15-year-old high school student from Forsyth County.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Brayden Lewis Clark faces charges of homicide by vehicle and driving under the influence in the Dawson County crash, which also injured three other teens.
Authorities in Dawson County, which sits just north of Forsyth, say Clark ran a stop sign at about 9:30 p.m. on the Fourth. He struck an Acura at the intersection of Lumpkin Campground and Industrial Park roads, according to a police report obtained by the AJC.

Eliza Farrell, s student at Lambert High School, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the report. Others in the Acura were Xavier Sanchez, 16, Rachel Rajczak, 15, and Kevin Arias, 16.
Those three all sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Clark was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, where blood tests were taken for drugs and alcohol. He was listed in stable condition at the hospital, according to the AJC.
The paper reported that Clark also faces charges of reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign and other traffic offenses.
