Masked Man Robs Bank in Cumming

CUMMING, GA — An armed man wearing panty hose on his face and a white construction hard hat robbed a bank in Cumming on Tuesday.

The robbery happened at about 12:30 p.m. at Foothills Community Bank, at 5835 Bethelview Rd. in Cumming.

The disguised robber entered the bank, brandished a handgun and demanded cash from two cashiers inside, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene.

The robber's vehicle, a dark colored Saturn Vue, was seen leaving the area. It was located nearby shortly after the robbery and was determined to be stolen, the sheriff's office said.
