McDonald's Worker Fired For Refusing To Serve Deputies
The incident in Gainesville came to light via a Facebook post, according to the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
GAINESVILLE, GA β A McDonald's worker in Gainesville has been fired after refusing to serve law enforcement officers.
On Monday, someone using their personal Facebook account posted a comment saying that an employee of the restaurant, at Jesse Jewell Parkway and Limestone Parkway, had refused service to uniformed officers, according to the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
"Because of this, the McDonaldβs restaurant in question learned of an internal employee issue and dealt with it expeditiously by terminating the employee," the sheriff's office said in a news release.

The sheriff's office said there are no hard feelings toward McDonald's over the incident.
"The local McDonaldβs franchise owner has always been a friend to law enforcement in the area and we look forward to enjoying a positive relationship with the company for years to come," the release said.
