Middle School Teacher Arrested on Drug Charges, Resigns

A North Forsyth County Middle School teacher has resigned following a drug arrest, according to WSBTV.

Deputies say Alisen Mooney was caught doing drugs with a man in a grocery store parking lot in Hall County.

Mooney resigned following her arrest, according to the WSB report.

A school system spokesperson told the station that a long-term substitute will fill in until the end of the school year.

Drugs were found in the car and one of the charges included possession of amphetamines with the intent to distribute.
