This class introduces children to music in a fun and innovative way. It features captivating musical games, circle dances, passing games, puppets, musical instruments, poetry/rhymes, and children’s literature. Children will learn to play unpitched percussion (rhythm sticks, tambourine, hand drums, tubano drums, bells, etc.) and pitched percussion (glockenspiel and xylophone). The Fall Session will have a theme of “Barnyard Dance”. Children will participate in musical activities centered around a different farm animal each week. Showcase will be presented on the last day of each session.

Sperber Music is the official music provider for the City of Milton. This class is part of the City of Milton Parks & Recreation programming. This is the third year Mini Musicians has been offered to area residents.
