- Cumming's 4th of July celebration is next week! The event will be held at the Cumming Fairgrounds, starting at 4:00 p.m. with fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m. At the celebration, there will be vendors, food, live music, a kids' zone, and family fun! (Cumming Fairgrounds)
- This summer, the Forsyth County Georgia Animal Shelter is waiving adoption fees on all animals. Their "Summer of Love" adoption special will run from now until September 6th. See all the available animals at our link. (Forsyth County Georgia Animal Shelter)
- Coal Mountain Dog Park has become a very popular spot to take your four-legged friend out for some summer heat. The dog park was opened in 2020 thanks to Forsyth County Parks and Recreation. - On Friday, Jun. 24, city officials and residents gathered off Canton Highway to celebrate the end of the construction phase for the Cumming City Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
