No Change After Recount in Senate District 27 Primary Race
A recount of the Senate District 27 and House District 26 races is complete with no change in either race.

The Forsyth County Registrations and Elections Board completed its recount of the Senate District 27 and House District 26 races this afternoon (Wednesday) with only a slight change in the vote tally and no change in the results.
Incumbent Sen. Jack Murphy received 13,290 votes to challenger Steve Voshall's 13,176. Murphy's total was unchanged. Voshall's final tally represents a loss of one vote.
There was no change in the election night results in the race for House of Representatives. Geoff Duncan received 4,507 votes to former State Rep. Tom Knox 4,452.
