CUMMING, GA — Explosive devices were not detected Wednesday after bomb threats were typed into the search bar of a children's computer at the Sharon Forks Library, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said Monday.

The threat prompted a library evacuation, and explosion detection K9s were deployed. No explosives were found during a search of both the building and a truck that was hauling books from the library.

Authorities said the suspect was identified as a juvenile library volunteer.

"Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned that a juvenile library volunteer was the only person around the computer when the threats were made. The juvenile was contacted and admitted to typing the threats into the public computer," authorities said in a news release.

The person was criminally trespassed from all Forsyth libraries, meaning the juvenile cannot enter the libraries without proper consent. A juvenile complaint form was completed and submitted for terroristic threats, authorities said.
