Here are the top five stories today in Cumming:

  1. The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is urging drivers to slow down. Deputies reported seeing speeds of 107 mph, 112 mph, and 130 mph this month. Those are just a few of the high speeds seen. (Forsyth County Sheriff's Office via Facebook)
  2. Five new homes have been listed for sale in the Cumming area. Available properties range from a 1,909 sq. ft., 3-bed, 2.5-bath home for $479,000 to a $725,000 home with 5 beds, 4 baths, and 3,087 sq. ft. Get all the details in Patch's latest real estate roundup. (Cumming Patch)
  3. In the Sunday Florida State Seminoles athletics update, Cumming native Wyatt Crowell made 28 appearances out of the bull pen. Crowell lead FSU to a 2.12 ERA and finished 6-1 with two saves and a total of 72 strikeouts in 51 innings. Crowell joins the USA Baseball's Collegiate National Team this summer as pitcher.   4. The Sawnee Association of the Arts and The Cumming Arts Center is looking for artists for their "Hot Summer Nights" art show. The deadline to enter the show is Jul. 17, and artists' work will be on display from Aug. 4 through Oct. 1. Local artists 18 years and old are invited to enter. (Sawnee Art)
