• Paris High School Senior Earns National Recognition in Genes in Space Competition (myparistexas.com) — A Lambert High School student from Cumming teamed up with a Paris High School senior to earn national Honorable Mention in the 2026 Genes in Space competition, for a project on DNA repair and astronaut safety. Their proposal, chosen from nearly a thousand entries, explores how the body's natural repair systems might protect astronauts from deep-space radiation on future missions.
