Pi Day Race! Join us on 3.14.15 for a PI Day Race at Totally Running and Walking!

A portion of race proceeds will be used to buy equipment for special needs classrooms in Forsyth County!

Join teachers, students and families for the Pi Day Race. The Pi Day Race provides the perfect opportunity to build excitement around mathematics and science education! Pi Day, 3.14.15, is a fun celebration used by educators to draw attention to the important mathematical number pi. Pi, a transcendental number, is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to the diameter.

Pi Day Race has an innovative twist! While many 5K runs are 3.1 miles, the Pi Day 5-K will be a 3.14 mile run/walk! We are encouraging schools, universities, businesses, and families to come out to run/walk together to support and foster excitement about mathematics and science education.
