Ray Herbert, rising senior at Pinecrest Academy, a Catholic PreK-12 college preparatory school in Cumming, was recognized for being the First Place winner for the State of Georgia in the Trig Star competition.
A banquet honoring Ray and other winners was held in Charleston, South Carolina the weekend of July 20-21, 2013.
Ray placed 20th in the country on the national test and was presented with a cash prize for winning for the State of Georgia.
