  2. North Forsyth Raiders lost a heart breaker 31-27 to North Atlanta in the Corky Kell Classic Thursday night. Leading most of the game, the Raiders had one final chance to win but went four-and-out to suffer the season-opening defeat. They'll play Forsyth Central next week at Bulldog Stadium. The West Forsyth Wolverines on the other hand were victorious, knocking off Archer 21-7 to start off the 2022 campaign 1-0. West Forsyth will take on Marietta at home next week. (Corky Kell)
  3. Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna was arrested and booked around 4:30 a.m. Friday morning for driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane, according to Gwinnett County jail records. Ozuna, 31, was clocked speeding at about 90 mph in a 35 mph zone along Beaver Ruin Road. (WSB)
