Here are the top three stories today in Cumming:
- Robbers stole a John Deere tractor and a commercial mower from an aquaponic farm owned by Meals By Grace. The stolen equipment is worth approximately $20,000, according to staff members. Meals by Grace is a no cost, meal program focused on helping feed children and their families. (Forsyth County News)
- Two Forsyth County student-athletes attending the University of Georgia have been named to the 2022 Spring Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll. Aleesa De Castro and Sophia Baker, both South Forsyth High School graduates, received the award. They both compete in Women's Track and Field at UGA. (Georgia Bulldogs)
- The Children's Center for Hope & Healing, Avita Community Partners and Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities will host the 14th Annual Northeast Georgia Trauma Conference. The conference will be hosted at Grace Episcopal Church in Gainesville. There is no cost for attendance, however, donations are greatly appreciated. Breakfast and lunch are included.
