SouthCrest Bank to Open Commercial Business Center in Cumming; Grand Opening Aug. 5
SouthCrest Bank is expanding its operations to better serve the Cumming-Forsyth County Community

SouthCrest Bank, one of Georgia’s leading regional banking institutions, is expanding its operations in Cumming by opening a new branch/business center in late July to serve the Cumming and Forsyth County business community, announced Kenneth H. Maloy, president and CEO of SouthCrest Bank. The newest addition in the SouthCrest Bank portfolio will be located at 3275 Market Place Blvd., Suite 100, in Cumming, GA, at the Lake Point Professional Center. An official “Grand 0pening” and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
“This is an exciting time of expansion for SouthCrest Bank, particularly in the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan area,” said Maloy. “This new Cumming business center represents the first of many we plan to open in metro areas. It demonstrates our continuing commitment to provide quality service and build strong, collaborative relationships with local business customers.”
SouthCrest Bank has had an office in the Cumming area for the past two years, but this move will exhibit a substantial increase in office size, employees and services offered. The new Cumming business center will specialize in retail and commercial banking services, mortgage banking and small business loan processing, in addition to offering a full range of banking services to serve Cumming and Forsyth County’s growing business community.

Invited guests include Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce executive members, noted officials representing the Cumming City Council, and The Honorable Ford Gravitt, Mayor of Cumming.
