SouthCrest Bank Welcomes Key Cumming Officials to Officially Open New Commercial Business Center in Cumming

CUMMING, GA (Aug. 5, 2015)—Senior leaders of SouthCrest Bank, one of Georgia’s leading regional banking institutions, welcomed several top representatives of the Cumming and Forsyth County government and business sectors at the official grand opening of its newest business center at 3275 Market Place Blvd., Suite 100, at the Lake Point Professional Center. The Honorable Mayor Ford Gravitt of Cumming, Forsyth County Board of Commissioners Chairman R.J. (Pete) Amos and Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce President James McCoy were among VIP special guests who graciously welcomed the SouthCrest Bank expansion within the Cumming community.

“This is an exciting time of expansion here in Cumming and Forsyth County, not just for SouthCrest Bank, but for many small, medium and upper mid-market businesses as well,” said Kenneth H. Early Wednesday morning, SouthCrest Bank opened its doors to invited guests to present an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception to officially open its new business center in Cumming. With a substantial increase in office size, employees and services offered, the business center will specialize in retail and commercial banking services, mortgage banking and SBA Lending, in addition to a full range of banking services for the Cumming and Forsyth County business community. Previously, SouthCrest maintained a commercial loan office in the Cumming area for two years, and a full-service branch in Johns Creek. Both have combined into this new Cumming business center.

Speakers for the on-site ribbon-cutting ceremony included SouthCrest Bank President of Metro Banking Joseph Rheaves, SouthCrest Bank Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Team John Bramblett and SouthCrest Bank Vice President of Marketing Dawn Hutchinson, as well as Ken Maloy and James McCoy. Guests also were treated to a breakfast table of pastry treats and coffee from local Cumming vendor Dutch Monkey Doughnuts. A custom, leather-bound business journal, bookmark and pen from SouthCrest Bank served as a keepsake for the special event.
