Students at Carrington Academy in Cumming Plant for Earth Day
Students celebrated Earth Day and protecting the environment by planting flowers and vegetables in their schoolyard
On April 21, students at Carrington Academy on Majors Road in Cumming celebrated Earth Day by planting a brand-new garden at their school. Students planted different types of flowers and vegetables that they will care for throughout spring. Leading up to Earth Day, students learned about plants and vegetation in our ecosystem. Carrington Academy teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
