The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office has not released details about the manner of Guice's death. His body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.

After the arrest of Tidwell and Spark, sheriff's deputies and the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force had been actively seeking a third suspect, the sheriff's office said in a written statement.

Winkles did not offer any resistance when arrested in Banks County, the statement said.

"During the course of this investigation, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit was working with local authorities in extreme North Georgia," the statement said. "We were aware of his general location and knew he was not in Forsyth County. This investigation has been conducted around the clock in order to locate him."

All three suspects are being held at the Forsyth County Detention Center.
