  1. Arianna Lenee Zolciak, daughter of reality TV star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, was arrested in Forsyth County and charged with DUI, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. Zolciak, 20, was also charged with improper/erratic lane change and underage consumption of alcohol following a wreck at the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. 400. The accident occurred at about 1 a.m. Saturday where a driver said he had been traveling in the right lane of the southbound exit of Ga. 400 and was attempting to turn right onto Peachtree Parkway when a Mercedes G-Wagon in the left lane, driven by Zolciak, attempted to make a right turn onto Peachtree Parkway and hit his vehicle. Zolciak and her attorney have confirmed the accident but are denying the impairment. (Forsyth County News).
  2. Renovations and upgrades are coming to Central Park. The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved a $7.5 million renovation of the recreation center to include a new senior services building, a new downstairs fitness room, a new meeting space, a new gym and two new aerobic rooms. The board also approved remodeling the kitchen and existing fitness rooms. Construction will take place in two phases, so that each half of the building can remain open while the work is performed.
