Two Children Killed in New Year's Crash in Hall County
The victims in the single-car crash were ages 4 and 1.

HALL COUNTY, GA — Two young children — a 4 year old and a 1 year old — were killed Sunday in a single-car crash in Hall County.
The crash happened at about 1:50 p.m. Sunday on Ga. 60 in Gainesville, WSB-TV reported.
The Georgia State Patrol told the station that the car's driver, Sabrina McConnell, 25, of Hall County, was negotiating a left curve when she drove off the road, then over-corrected and traveled across the center line.

She then over-corrected again, GSP told the station, drove off the road and hit a tree. The car reportedly rolled down an embankment and overturned.
A 4-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy were killed in the crash, state troopers said.

McConnell was taken to the hospital, according to the report, as were John Wayne Gibbs III, 25, and Ashley Rose, 21, both of Walton County, who were passengers in the car.
Authorities told WSB no charges have been filed because the investigation is still ongoing.
