Woman Killed in Car Crash in Cumming
The cause of the two-vehicle collision remains under investigation, authorities say.

CUMMING, GA -- A 59-year-old woman from Cumming was killed Tuesday morning in a crash that shut down Ga. Highway 9.
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office says Marianella Sanchez was driving her Honda Accord on Ga. 9 (Atlanta Highway) near Anthem Parkway at about 7:10 a.m. when she collided head-on with a man driving a Ford F-150 truck.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, although drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been involved, sheriff's office spokesman Epifanio Rodriguez said Tuesday.

The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital with what were described as minor injuries.
The wreck shut down Highway 9 in both directions for nearly two hours Tuesday morning.
