Woman Returns From Vacation, Discovers House Ransacked
Paint was scuffed, appliances were dented, and clothing was mislaid, police said.

A Forsyth County woman coming home from vacation got a nasty surprise when she opened the front door only to find that the home in the 3000 block of Glennvale Court had been used while she was gone.
Northfulton.com cites a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office report which states that upon arriving home, the victim noticed scuffed paint, a dented stove, empty alcohol bottles strewn about, and drug paraphernalia that was not hers. Her clothes had been removed from her closet, placed in bags, and left by the front door.
The woman also reported a purse worth $350 was stolen. She told police that a family member had a key to the house, but was not allowed on the property while she was absent.
