Wrap Up To The 2014 Fancy Food Show

Gratitude Goodies has been attending Fancy Food Shows for four of the five years we’ve been in business.  Learning how to work a show as a retailer in this massive market has been a developing skill.  This year we can actually say we’ve done the whole show!  Maybe even twice.

Getting the most out of a food show, or any trade show, starts way before you actually arrive on site.   It must begin by identifying who you are as a company, and the market place you wish to serve.  Gratitude Goodies is a gift basket company, serving primarily corporate clients.  Keeping this focus was essential to us as we worked our way through countless booths of every variety of food imaginable.  Trays of mouthwatering samples were just sitting there, waiting to be indulged at every booth.  Sampling our way around all this temptation had to be strategically planned.

Gratitude Goodies flew to San Francisco specifically to see how the west coast market differed from the New York market, in terms of products.  We were rewarded with masses of very interesting choices, in all categories, of the items we were targeting.

Coming in 2014, Gratitude Goodies will be launching new designs for him and her: a spicy basket, higher-end products to enhance existing designs, as well as some really amazing snacks, healthy options and jerky’s.
