Fake 911 Caller: 'I Got a (Expletive) Gun'
Gwinnett Police arrest a man they believe made 14 calls to 911 claiming such things as a bomb, apartment fire and shooting people.

A Gwinnett County, Ga., man has been arrested and accused of making a string of false 911 calls that were filled with expletives and made claims about a bomb, apartment fire and wanting to shoot someone.

Gwinnett Police said Aaron Tyler Norman, 33, has been charged with making false statements, terroristic threats, transmitting false alarm and requesting an ambulance when not required (three counts).
Police believe Norman is responsible for 14 calls to 911 made between April 17 and 25.

According to police, some of the calls included:
- “I got a (expletive) gun.”
- “I’m about to (expletive) … up.”
- “Mother (expletive) better get over to Marquis at Sugarloaf because somebody’s about to get shot.”
- An apartment building was on fire
- There was a bomb in the building
- The caller needed an ambulance (on 3 separate occasions)
Police began the investigation at the Marquis at Sugarloaf Apartments, at 2200 Satellite Boulevard in Duluth, and found that Norman had been recently evicted
“A source close to Norman was able to confirm that it was his [Norman’s} voice on the 911 audio recordings,” police said in a news release.
Norman was arrested on April 27 and is currently in the Gwinnett County Jail. He also faces burglary charges in an unrelated case, police said.
