Mindabeth Jacobs, O.D. has joined the healthcare professionals at Thomas Eye Group, a leading metro Atlanta eye care provider that offers comprehensive services including LASIK and medical, surgical and cosmetic eye care.

Dr. Jacobs earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Florida and a doctor of optometry degree from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry. Post graduation, she moved to Atlanta to complete a residency specializing in ocular disease. Following her residency, Dr. Jacobs earned a fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry.

An Alabama native, Dr. Jacobs has authored several articles on diagnosis, treatment and management of eye diseases. Since 2011, she has served as the chairperson of Item Writing for the American Board of Optometry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, and also a member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, the Georgia Optometric Association and the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association.
When she’s not serving patients, Dr. Jacobs enjoys snowboarding, camping and hiking.
