Las Brasas Finds New Downtown Decatur Space

A popular Peruvian rotisserie chicken restaurant in Decatur has found a new space in downtown to call home.

According to Decatur Metro, Las Brasas will move into the old Burnt Fork BBQ location at the corner of Church Street and Commerce Road in May or June.

In February, Decatur Metro reported that the restaurant was looking to move away from its East Howard Avenue location for new digs in either Kirkwood or Decatur. Las Brasas owner John Koechlin told Decatur Metro that he wanted to find a space which would allow customers to sit down and enjoy a drink with their chicken.

Burnt Fork BBQ announced its closure in December after four years in business, Eater Atlanta reported. No reason was given at the time for the closure.
