An armed robber kidnapped a woman and took a hotel guest's car Wednesday morning at the Crossland Economy Studios, located at 7049 Jimmy Carter Blvd., in Peachtree Corners, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Man Died In Custody After Scuffle With Police: GBI
A man died Saturday while in police custody, according to a press release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. The Auburn Police Department had him under arrest for battery and cruelty to children, the press release says.
$400,000 Drug Bust Made By Douglas County Deputies
Drugs with a street value in excess of $400,000 have been taken off Douglas County streets because of a drug bust and three arrests made by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Wednesday, according to Sgt. Jesse Hambrick, public information officer.
