Man Died In Custody After Scuffle With Police: GBI

A man died Saturday while in police custody, according to a press release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. The Auburn Police Department had him under arrest for battery and cruelty to children, the press release says.

$400,000 Drug Bust Made By Douglas County Deputies

Drugs with a street value in excess of $400,000 have been taken off Douglas County streets because of a drug bust and three arrests made by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Wednesday, according to Sgt. Jesse Hambrick, public information officer.
