2 Meetings Slated To Discuss Bridge Rehab In Douglas County

GDOT is holding 2 public meetings to hear details and give input about proposed rehabilitation on 6 bridges in Douglas County.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Georgia Department of Transportation, or GDOT, is holding two public meetings for citizens to hear details and offer input about a proposed bridge rehabilitation project on six bridges over I-20 in Douglas County. These bridges are located along (Tyson Road, Post Road, Liberty Road, Burnt Hickory Road and North County line Road). The bridge rehabilitation will include bridge jacking, deck preservation, cap strengthening and painting the steel beams.

The first meeting will take place at Mason Creek Middle School, 7777 Mason Creek Road, Winston, GA 30187 on May 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. and the second meeting will take place June 14 at Douglas County Multimodal Transportation Center, 8800 Dorris Road, Douglasville, GA 30134 from 5 to 7 p.m.
