3 Accused Of Murder After Man Found Dead In Douglasville Hotel Room

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Police have identified the body of a man found Sunday in a Duralee Lane hotel room as 19-year-old Dayjon Moore.

Three people were arrested in connection with the shooting death of Moore, Douglasville Police said Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were investigating a fight at the hotel when the body was found, police said.

Andre Mitchell, 46, is charged on suspicion of possession of a firearm, possession of cocaine and murder, police said.

Charmon Smith, 35, and Dorian Edmonds, 34, are charged on suspicion of party to a crime of aggravated assault and murder, police said.

A motive in the shooting has not been released.
