LITHIA SPRINGS, GA — The online clothing stylist and ordering company Stitch Fix is opening a distribution center that should bring 900 jobs to Douglas County, state officials said July 12. The personal styling service lets customers order clothes to try on at home, they keep what they want for purchase and ship back what they don't want to keep. Stitch Fix offers styling for women, including petite, plus and maternity sizes, along with men and children.

The Lithia springs distribution center was described in documents as a $56 million investment with 981 jobs at an average wage of $15.82 per hour, AJC.com reported. Stitch Fix will qualify for more than $16 million in incentives if the company reaches its jobs goals. The incentives include nearly $8.6 million in tax credits for newly created jobs, a nearly $1 million state grant, $140,000 in sales and use tax exemptions, and nearly $6.6 million in local property tax breaks.
