Air Force Vet Jack W. Driver, 77, Dies
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today from Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Brown officiating.

Jack W. Driver, 77 of Carrollton, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at his residence. He was born April 18, 1936 in Newnan, the son of the late Floyd Driver and Canarie Burks Driver. He was U.S Air Force retired and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved helping his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, David Stratton; three sisters, and one brother. Survivors include his wife, Sara Moore Driver of Carrollton; children: Michael & Kathy Driver, Pat Stratton, and John Driver, all of Carrollton; sisters: Miriam Cannon and Faye Prescott, both of Carrollton; brother, J. D. Driver, also of Carrollton; six grandchildren: Kristi McWhorter, Ginny Collins, Jennifer Leger, Adam Driver, Ashley Driver and Daniel Stratton; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today from Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Brown officiating. Music will be rendered by Dennis Akin, Jennifer Leger and Ashley Driver. Those serving as pallbearers will be Adam Driver, Randy Buchanan, Daniel Stratton, John McWhorter, Brock Leger and Lee Taylor with Tony Driver serving as honorary pallbearer.
The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Interment services, with military honors, will follow in Happy Hill Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Horace Wilson presiding.
